Sunshine!

With the way the weather has been here in Seattle for the past month nobody would've guessed it was June. However, today the sun is finally shining again and best of all we're all heading over to Alki for a bbq to celebrate Judy coming back to visit us here in green green Seattle.

Your IQ score is:
135  You scored 135 on Tickle's IQ test. This means that based on your answers, your IQ score is between 125 and 135. Most people's IQs are between 70 and 130.
In fact, 95% of all people have IQs within that range. 68% of people score between 80 and 120. The following chart to your right, shows these percentages and where your IQ score is on that scale.
How do you relate to other IQ test takers?

Your Intellectual Type Is:
Visual Mathematician  You have a strong ability to process visual-spatial and mathematical information. These skills combined with your strengths in logic are what make you a Visual Mathematician.

You're able to understand patterns visually and in numbers. That means your mind can create a mental picture for any problem. In addition to that skill, you possess an intelligence that allows you to apply math to that picture, too. That helps you manipulate multiple parts of the picture (or problem) to come up with a solution.
You have many skills that are critical to success and problem-solving. Your talents help you understand the "big picture," which is partly why people may turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. You flourish in environments where tasks are clearly defined, and you are a whiz at improving processes and making things more efficient. Your ability to detect patterns and your skills in math and logic, make it natural for you to come up with ideas and theories that simplify processes for everyone.

Outside of work, Visual Mathematicians tend to do well at strategic activities like chess. It must be that ability to recognize patterns — both as they are and how they develop. Regardless of how you put your mind to use, you've got a great set of talents. You will be able to envision a clear path and calculate the risks, and more importantly, the rewards, of anything you take on.

Bill, you're more sinful than the average person.

And it's affecting your life in ways you might not realize. For one thing, if you aren't careful, your drive to lead an extravagant life may ultimately be your downfall. What you think of as necessary can be construed as excess by others. So you, in particular, should beware of prioritizing worldly possessions above other things and allowing this to take precedence over your personal relationships.

If you continue to do so, you might find yourself jeopardizing the things that are most important to you.

Vacations are Nice

Well if you didn't hear. During the holiday season I was in Vietnam. Because there are so many stories to tell (and the fact that I'm lazy as heck to type it all out) I'll just say a few of the more interesting things that happened on the trip. First off new food: cobra and dog. I've had snake before just never a big ass cobra and yes I did eat man's best friend.

Next thing if you're going to Vietnam go during a major holiday like Christmas. Man those people can party (especially at the bars)

Finally the best part was the exchange rate and prices of food/goods. With the price of most items there you could stuff yourself silly and go on crazy shopping sprees. The one problem is bringing all that stuff back.

Want to see pictures/videos or hear more stories and details? Take me out for a drink and you can bombard me with any questions that you want.

"Black Friday"

Ahhh yes...the one day of the year when every retailer has some "crazy super cheap low priced" items up for grabs. However, the real object of attention on "Black Friday" are the people who line up outside of the stores waiting to be the first ones to get their hands on these items. I myself have worked 3 "Black Friday's" at Bestbuy and let me say this...You People Are Freaking Insane!

This year I myself have actually gone out to see what deals I can take advantage of. Personally, I am a Noob when it comes to this day. The last time I went out on this most chaotic day of the year was probably somewhere around the age 14.  So when my sister and I decided "Hey! Lets go to the 12am openings of stores at the Seattle Premium Outlet," I did not know what I was getting myself into.

We left our house here in north Seattle at about 10:10 pm.  I got us up there at about 10:55 pm. Since neither one of us had ever been to this outlet, we decided to take a look around and see what stores were there. By the time we got there the line for Coach had approximately 70 people already waiting in line and that line was getting much longer by the minute.  Banana Republic was having a 40% off all items in the store and thus the line for BR was also quite popular and getting quite long.  I decided to try my luck there and then move on to other stores.  So here I stood in line, standing next to some very interesting people for a hour. (One group consisted of 3 women who seemed to be friends but yet one woman kept talking shit to her friend and it seemed as if the other woman would cry while the last one tried to play peacekeeper. That was quite entertaining.) Anyways, the temperature outside must've been somewhere around 40 degrees but with the windchill it seemed as if it was 30 degrees and of course I didn't bring a thick enough jacket so I was SOL.

Once it hit 12am and the doors open people filed in. Of course the stores capacity filled quickly and so many people had to stand outside and wait for the next wave. (Luckily I made it in on the first wave.)  Once inside it was basically every man & woman for themself. It made me so claustrophobic to be in there that I quickly grabbed a white button shirt, reddish brown sweater, a beanie, and some gloves.  The total amount I spent came out to be $98.87.  My total before this according to the price tags (which I believe were for show) would've been somewhere around $160, which I guess I came out not bleeding too hard from the wallet.

When I left BR the line for Coach had reached somewhere around 200+ people and their store capacity was somewhere around 26 so that line was crawling along. (what dedication for name brand items). Places such as Adidas, Levis, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Nike were filled with people waiting in line to try and purchase items.

What did I learn from this day? That these deals are just hyped up for one. Second is that people are insane and will do anything for the slighest deals (*cough* waiting in a super long ass line for 10-20% off at Coach). And finally, next year I most likely will go to sleep and enjoy a nice nights worth of sleep.
